The Health Minister will today be quizzed on the role of chiropractors operating on the Island.

North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson has tabled five questions on the subject for David Anderson in the House of Keys.

He wants to know if anyone can set up as a chiropractor, even though they may not be fully qualified, and if there is a clause to regulate chiropractors in the forthcoming health service legislation.

Mr Henderson will also ask if the Minister is aware that there are businesses operating which are offering extended treatment plans beyond what is normally recognised by a registered professional in this area.

Fellow North Douglas MHK John Houghton will also quiz Mr Anderson - he wants to determine if the Department of Health intends to abolish free eye tests in the future.
