The Island is waking up to a chilly morning, with widespread frost and icy conditions on the roads.
The gritters have been out tackling the busiest commuter routes since 5am, but there are still areas that are yet to be covered.
There are reports of sheet ice at the Dhoon, in the area of Crogga Hill on the Old Castletown Road and on the road at the bottom of Blackberry Lane onto Summerhill.
There is also a road closure in place between Ballig Bridge and Kirk Michael, again due to sheet ice.
With this in mind you’re asked to drive with extreme caution this morning, vehicle sharing where possible to reduce congestion on what is expected to be a slow drive to work this morning.
