A consultation aiming to safeguard children against the exposure to second hand smoke has two weeks left to run.
The public's feedback will shape the new smoke free legislation and will aim to ban smoking in cars carrying young children, tobacco vending machines and control tobacco point of sale displays.
Dr Paul Emerson from the Public Health Directorate says it's clear it is still too easy for young people to obtain cigarettes and tobacco.
