Commissioners' support for BMX track

Proposals for a new BMX and skate park in the south of the Island are going to be drawn up after the idea gained support of the local authority.

Port Erin Commissioners say they support the creation of a BMX and skate park in principle and will do their best to assist the idea going forward.

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture will now proceed with looking at plans to house the facility on its land at Bradda Glen.
