Film exhibition marks 100th movie milestone

Isle of Man Film is celebrating its 100th movie milestone with a new exhibition.

It’s to mark the fact that work has started on the hundredth film production on the Island – a black comedy called Dom Hemingway which stars Jude Law.

The exhibition is a timeline of the productions shot on Island from the first film – The Brylcreem Boys in 1995 – to the present day.

It’s taking place in The Strand Centre and admission is free.

MHK Laurence Skelly, who has political responsibility for film, says it’s important to take note of the Island’s achievements:
