DOI teams tackle bad weather damage

The Department of Infrastructure says its teams have been out in force following a period of bad weather.

Strong gales and heavy rain over the last two days have caused flooding across the Island with trees coming down in the more exposed areas.

Deputy civil engineering manager Alan Hardinge says the work they've been doing is common at this time of year.

However he says there are preventative measures we can all take:
