A year-10 student at QEII High School in Peel has won the prestigious Aundyr Lettyragh Manx Gaelic award.
Chloe Spooner was given the prize after writing an essay in Manx about a day in her life.
The award is presented each year to the high school student who produces the best prose in Manx.
Although born in England, Chloe started learning Gaelic years ago after her friends started taking classes at Marown Primary School, she's now studying for a GCSE in Manx.
