Motorists are being urged to ensure their cars are fit for the road this winter.

With the cold spell edging closer, and with dark nights and mornings, it’s time to check your vehicle is in full working order.

Drivers are being urged to check their lights work, tyres have enough tread and that wipers and demisters are in good working order.
