CEO defends decision on bus drivers' ultimatum

The chief executive of the Department Community, Culture and Leisure has outlined exactly how much the Island's bus drivers are earning.

 

Nick Black was speaking following months of negotiations with the drivers' union Unite.

 

The department is attempting to cut the drivers' paid lunch hour in a bid to save around £300,000, however there's been numerous failed ballots and discussions are still ongoing.

 

Mr Black told us more.
