A statement from the Michael Commissionbers has flagged up a number of concerns they have with the Scope of Government Consultation.
They warn that ratepayers could end up shouldering extra costs with government proposing a reduction in the number of services they provide.
If this is the case they argue the rating system should be overhauled.
They feel the services devolved by Government should be funded by subvention stating they are totally against the proposal for Local Income Tax.
Steven Hamer from the commissioner s said he feels the whole consultation needs revising:
