The DCCL Minister Graham Cregeen will be asked what contingency plans he has in place should the bus drivers dispute result in industrial action.
Member for Middle Howard Quayle will ask the question in the first sitting back of Tynwald on Tuesday.
The question comes off the back of the drivers rejecting their new terms of conditions which would have seen them deprived of a paid lunch hour.
There is growing uncertainty as to what the next step will be, and whether or not there will be serious disruption to the vital public service.
The Minister has previously warned that the savings are essential and if need be could come from job losses.
