A doctor who had previously worked in the Isle of Man will have his case reviewed by a Fitness to Practise panel this week.
Dr Ahmad Mohamad Safa-ei had his fitness to practise deemed impaired at a hearing in January of this year.
It all relates back to a charge of harassment of a colleague, a charge that he was given a 3 months prison sentence suspended for two years and had his license suspended for 6 months.
Dr Ahmad was employed by the Department of Health as a Junior Doctor between July 2008 and March 2010.
The Department have said that throughout his tenure there were no concerns regarding patient care nor his clinical competence or ability to practice medicine.
Thursday’s review will determine what sanction, if any, will be imposed upon his registration.
