People with hearing problems have been urged to make sure they attend hospital appointments in an attempt to reduce waiting times.
The Department of Health says there has been an increase in the number of people missing appointments at the audiology service.
To try and combat this a drop in service has been introduced which enables people with minor problems to be seen on a walk in basis.
Head of audiology Stephen Griffiths says there is an increase in demand for the service but missed appointments are hindering it:
