Bus drivers are voting today to decide the next step in a row over pay.
The head of the union representing drivers, UNITE, says negotiations with the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure will restart immediately if an agreement can’t be reached.
It follows weeks of debate with drivers. the department and unions.
Government has proposed the equivalent of a 12 per cent pay cut to the drivers' annual wage by taking away paid lunch breaks.
Possible strike action hasn't been ruled out, although UNITE head Eric Holmes says he hopes this won't be the case.
