Ramsey woman injured from dog bite

Ramsey police are investigating after a woman was bit by a dog and needed hospital treatment.

It happened on Wednesday as the lady was walking along Brookfield Avenue at around 2.30pm when the German Shepherd ran across the road and bit her leg.

It’s believed the dog ran out from a dark coloured possibly Black Ford C Max people carrier.

Once the police arrived the dog and its owner had left the scene.

Andy Kneen from Ramsey Police Station says there are guidelines that all responsible dog owners must stick to:
