Ex-MHK to speak at PAG meeting

A former MHK will be the guest speaker at the next Positive Action Group meeting, looking into how the Island should be living within its means.

Edgar Quine's talk will address the Island’s economic situation and the fiscal challenges created by the ending of the VAT sharing arrangement with the UK.

The meeting will address how the Island can go from ‘where we used to be’ to ‘where we need to be’.

As part of a team who recently produced a review of the Scope of Government report Edgar was seen as the ideal candidate to deliver the talk:

The meeting will be held at the Manx Legion Club in Douglas at 7.30pm on Monday.
