Rally supporters transported back in time

Rally fans can watch this evening’s motor racing from a an 18th Century film set.

Today’s 12 stages will be headlined by extended Castletown stages in the evening.

And those people watching from the popular Glue Pot pub spot will find themselves transported back in time.

It's undergone a dramatic transformation for the filming of a new feature film called Belle.

It’s a welcome return for Rally Isle of Man which was cancelled last year.

However media officer Chris Boyde says more marshals are still needed to help ensure the event’s success:
