DEC comments on changing GCSE situation in the UK

The head of secondary education has admitted his department will have to act quickly once the future of GCSEs in England is decided.

Speaking to TVIM this week Paul Craine said the proposal by the UK government to scrap GCSEs in favour of a new English Baccalaureate system wouldn't necessarily mean the Isle of Man follows suit.

Mr Craine explained what will happen from here and the timescale the DEC now faces to make up its mind:
