TT favourite Ryan Farquhar will say a poignant goodbye to his fans at this weekend’s Gold Cup Road Races in Scarborough.
The three-times winner announced his retirement from the sport following the death of his uncle Trevor Ferguson in last month’s Manx Grand Prix.
He said racing would never be the same again and he couldn’t continue after seeing the effects it had on his family.
Farquhar will be accompanied by another TT favourite Ian Hutchinson who will ride one of his KMR Kawasakis.
The parade lap will start at 12.30pm on Sunday.
