Local musician puts aside cancer battle to stage gig of a lifetime

One of the Island’s most revered singer songwriters will be sharing the stage with two of her musical heroes this month.

Katherine Crowe has orchestrated all aspects of the gig whilst going through a very serious battle with cancer.

Multimillion selling artist Beverley Craven was approached to perform by Kath the last time she was playing on the Isle of Man, an offer that she happily accepted.

They’ll be joined by Richard Waters and a whole host of talent from the local music scene.

Kath has promised the show will be a musical celebration of her zest for life and a thoroughly upbeat affair.

She told us that although its been a challenge its been something to work towards and take her mind off her illness:
