Manx National Heritage will fly its flags at half mast today (Wednesday) in respect of former director Marshall Cubbon.
His funeral will take place this morning at Douglas Borough Crematorium.
During his career with MNH which started in 1950 Marshall Cubbon played a vital role in preserving the Island’s heritage.
In 1975 he was awarded an OBE for his services to the Manx Museum and National Trust.
Current director, Edmund Southworth, said he leaves behind a great legacy:
