The deadline for submitting your personal tax returns is now less than a month away.
The 2011/12 returns are due back in by October 6th, with fines in place for those who fail to comply with the deadlines.
If you fail to get the return back in you’ll be charged a £100 penalty.
If the return has still not been received by April 6th next year a further £200 charge will be added on.
Taxpayers are reminded that they can submit their tax return online.
Anyone who is interested in doing so should register for government online services and then follow the corresponding links.
From September 17th to October 5th, a dedicated team of officers will be available at the Income Tax Division from 11.30am to 2pm daily to assist people wishing to complete their tax return online.
