Bad weather causes Food and Drink Festival to move location

This year’s Food and Drink Festival is being moved as a knock on effect from the summer’s bad weather.

The festival was due to take place at The Nunnery in Douglas but will now re-locate to Knockaloe Farm in Patrick.

It’s because rain has made the car parking ground too wet to use.

Organisers say it’s unlikely it will dry out in time and there is little alternative parking nearby.

The Food and Drink Festival will take place on September 22nd and 23rd – the full programme of events remains unchanged. 

Local food marketing manager Kim Etherton says it wasn’t an easy decision to make:
