Emergency services were called into action last night after three teenagers got into difficulty after kayaking.
Peel and Castletown Coastguard responded to an emergency call at 6.55pm to the incident just north of Glen Maye.
The teenagers had managed to scramble onto nearby rocks however one had been in the water for a time, below a 270 ft cliff.
Peel Lifeboat was also involved in the rescue and assisted by taking the teenagers on board the lifeboat and returning them to shore.
There has been a number of incidents involving kayaks in recent weeks despite calls from the coastguard and lifeboat stations to take more care.
