The Island’s Chief Minister has officially launched a public consultation looking in to how government could change some of the services it delivers.
The recent Scope of Government report concluded that some services could be provided more efficiently by being run in different ways.
These included government-owned companies or contracting some services out.
It also recommends the transfer of certain functions to a reformed local authority system.
The formal consultation period will last until early October and proposals will then be debated in Tynwald.
