New sixth form students share concerns over future

Yesterday’s GCSE results saw a record pass rate of 99.1 per cent with large numbers expected to stay on at school for sixth form.

For the first time in a long time the new Year 12 pupils will face relative uncertainty as to what awaits them once they finish two years of higher education.

With government set to tighten the grant system and university slots becoming increasingly oversubscribed we asked a collective of A grade students if this could potentially impact their decisions as to what their next steps are:
