Over 900 students from the Island’s five secondary schools will receive their GCSE results today.
It marks the end of two years of study in Key Stage 4 for the 15 and 16 year olds.
The results will determine how students choose to progress – whether that is continuing their education in school by staying onto sixth form, entering the world of employment or going to the college.
Last year 86 per cent of students chose to stay in education with 54 per cent staying on to do A-Levels.
We’ll bring you the full results of how the Island’s students have fared later today.
