Manxman Davy Knowles has been named the sixth most influential modern blues guitarist by a leading guitar manufacturer.
The list, produced by Gibson, also features performers John Mayer and Jack White of the White Stripes, and pays homage to the most outstanding young blues guitarists of the past twenty years.
A former student of Castle Rushen High School, Davy has toured all over the United States, originally as part of Back Door Slam.
The 25-year old currently lives in Chicago and his newly-released album ‘Coming Up for Air’ has been produced by rock veteran Peter Frampton.
