Road closures to be reviewed

Motorists have been urged to drive with extreme caution today as the heavy rain has caused numerous problems around the Island.

The Mountain Road is closed from the Hairpin to the Creg Na Baa while the Department of Infrastructure carries out work on clearing the road due to a landslide.

The Lhoobs Road from its junction with The Eairy to its junction with the Archallagan Road has been closed due to flooding.

All of these road closures are currently being reviewed with the hope that the roads will re-open shortly.
