Police are searching for a number of power tools which have been stolen from a farm on the outskirts of Douglas.

The equipment, including a cordless drill and driver twin pack, was taken from Baroose Farm over the last few weeks.

One of the items taken was a hazardous waste material vacuum which is manufactured by a company called Numatic International.

This is a specialist piece of equipment which cannot be serviced by any companies on the Island.

Because of this it's believed it will stand out to someone who has seen it or been approached with a view to purchasing it.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact PC Cubbon at Lord Street Police Station on 631212.
