The search for a missing Peel man has been scaled down according to police.
Arran Kaighin, who is 43, has been missing since Thursday afternoon.
It’s believed he is wearing a dark green and black Regatta outdoor coat, dark green combat trousers and old walking boots.
Mr Kaighin had made infrequent contact with his family members from his mobile phone up to and including Saturday afternoon by text message.
Extensive searches have been carried out but police say these searches have now been scaled back, and in some locations suspended, until new information to his whereabouts is gained.
They say he is still being treated as a missing person and it’s hoped he returns safe and well.
