Fri, 10 Aug 2012

A Japanese company which has developed a biodiesel made from used cooking oil is looking to set up business on the Isle of Man.

Revo International is considering developing a test plant for manufacturing the fuel here.

It would be a further boost for the Island's clean tech sector which is one of the fastest growing industries and something the government is keen to develop further.

Dr Ken Milne is the Senior Manager for Energy Policy at the Department of Economic Development.

He says the Island is an attractive place for businesses in this sector.
