More than 100 responses have been received following a consultation to determine how Manx National Heritage should spend £1 million it was recently left by a local man.
The generous bequest came from Colby man John Donald Collister who left his estate to the Manx nation.
Mr Collister died in 2007 at the age of 93 - he also left a number of historical artefacts, amongst them his extensive World War Two memorabilia collection.
Some of the suggestions from the consultation include financial support to community and gardening projects and building conservation and wildlife schemes.
Each of the responses will be reviewed by the MNH's newly formed trustee body, with feedback given to respondents in the autumn.
