Potential fault with plug adaptor being sold locally says OFT

The Office of Fair Trading is warning the public of a potential fault with a plug adaptor being sold locally by a cleaning company.

A potential electric shock hazard has been found in a Kleeneze universal plug adaptors.

The problem is only associated with the adaptors sold between February 29th and June 29th this year.

Anyone who has one of these items, which are also stamped with the number “931L”, has been asked to stop using it immediately and to keep it out of reach of children.

However OFT Deputy Chief Officer, John Peet, said there was no cause for panic:

Anyone who has one of these adaptors is asked to return it to their Kleeneze distributor for a full refund or call Kleeneze Customer Services for further advice.
