The new baggage system being installed at Ronaldsway Airport is due to come in on time and within budget.
That's according to Director Ann Reynolds who says work has entered the final stages - with just under a month to go until it must be completed.
Work to replace the old baggage conveyer system and install new x-ray machines was started in April after the airport was told it had to do the work to ensure it didn't lose its UK domestic airport status.
The current stage of work is focussing on the "out of gauge" area where heavy or awkward items are taken to be scanned before being put in a plane's hold.
Ms Reynolds says this could cause slight disruption to passengers: (play media file below)
