A major fault has led to power loss for hundreds of homes and businesses this afternoon.
Central Douglas is badly affected but some properties in Glen Vine, Union Mills and Santon are also without power.
Some customers are reporting that their supplies have started to return.
The problem has affected traffic lights in some areas of Douglas and motorists are asked to take extra care.
Isle of Man Post says the power cut is affecting operations at post offices in Pulrose, Anagh Coar, Union Mills, Crosby Terrace and Saddlestone.
It's advised that people use the branch in Regent Street in Douglas
