It’s been confirmed that there will be pre-school provision in place at Manor Park and Ballacottier in September.
Mooinjer Veggey had originally stepped forward to take on the two sites after the Department of Education and Children announced it was putting a stop to free places.
However it looked like the educational Manx charity would be forced to withdraw after not enough parents registered their children to make it financially viable.
Now, in a turnaround, Mooinjer Veggey says it can offer morning sessions at Manor Park and has handed over the running of Ballacottier to The Cooil Pre-School which will run the facility on behalf of the charity.
Chairman of the charity Phil Gawne said he’s confident the numbers will add up:
