The Island’s Chief Minister appears to have backtracked on his call for a government of national unity.
When Allan Bell was elected in October last year he called for his political colleagues to be united and work together to take the Island forward.
Since that time the new government has been rocked by a number of political upsets including the sacking of Peter Karran as Education and Children Minister and a number of MHKs from their departmental responsibilities.
Last week Mr Bell announced a further reshuffle tasking MHKs with new political responsibility in a bid to move forward.
When asked if the recent problems signalled the end of his vision Mr Bell said his original comments had been blown out of proportion:
