Planned Mountain Road closure scrapped due to weather

Poor weather today means a planned closure of the Mountain Road for filming has had to be postponed.

Motocom Limited had applied for the road closure order in order to allow a helicopter to film the course for a promotional video for a Japanese motorbike.

This was due to take place between 9.30am and 4.30pm.

However due to the weather conditions visibility on the road is poor and it has been decided that filming will now take place tomorrow if conditions have improved.
