Crookall to help steer DEC into calmer waters

Education and Children Minister Tim Crookall

After weeks of speculation it was finally revealed yesterday that Tim Crookall will be stepping in to the role of Education and Children Minister.

The position has been vacant since Peter Karran was sacked from the Council of Ministers.

The Peel MHK will be leaving his post as Minister of Community, Culture and Leisure.

Backbencher, and Malew MHK, Graham Cregeen will take up that post.

The Chief Minister has said Tim Crookall is the man to steer the DEC into calmer waters after a troubling couple of months.
