Police have described the theft of a number of religious items from Jurby Church as “distasteful”.
Sometime between Tuesday and Saturday last week the church was broken into by thieves.
They took a replica metallic chalice - which is a goblet the size of a pint glass with religious inscribing – and two silver collection plates.
The plates were donated to the church in the memory of deceased patrons and are described as “highly sentimental”.
Anyone with information about the missing items is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234 or Crimestoppers.
