The Isle of Man’s Aircraft Registry has reached a significant milestone by registering its 500th aircraft since it started in 2007.
The aircraft was a Bombardier Global 5,000 which was delivered new from a factory in Canada.
The Isle of Man is currently the fastest growing offshore aircraft register in the world and the 7th largest business jet register.
Economic Development Minister John Shimmin said the success of the register was down to the hard work of the staff and the strong relationships with the aviation services industry.
