Wet weather causes further damage to roads

Fri, 29 Jun 2012

The Department of Infrastructure is reminding the public to report defective and damaged roads.

More pot holes have been appeared in the Island's roads after the recent heavy rain.

The Department of Infrastructure has a dedicated website called 'report a problem' which aims to make it easy for people to report any issues.

There's also an app available for iPhones and Androids that allows you to take a picture of the problem and submit it straight to the DoI.

It's not just for reporting potholes and people can easily submit reports of graffiti and vandalism, broken road signs and anything else that the department is responsible for fixing.

The website can be found at reportaproblem.im but it shouldn't be used for urgent matters, which should be reported direct to the Department's control room on 672000.
