Milk price increase

The price of milk is to increase for the first time in four years.
The Isle of Man Creamery has announced the cost of a pint will rise from 57p to 60p.
The increase will come in from 1st July.
The cost of milk is controlled by the Milk Price Order and a committee including representatives of DEFA, the Creamery, the Office of Fair Trading and dairy farmers agreed the price rise is necessary.
