One of the most loved landmarks in the south of the Island will be closed for 10 weeks this summer.
Milner Tower on Bradda Head needs major work doing in order to safeguard its structure and make it water tight.
The work is part of a capital scheme by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture and will cost around £90,000 – money left over from when the department took over Bradda.
Due to the historic nature of the building work will be carried out in a sympathetic manner – using traditional materials.
