Tynwald will be asked to give the go-ahead to plans for the government to buy a £24m stake in the Pinewood Film Studios.
It’s one of the items on the agenda at this month’s sitting, which gets underway this morning.
The government also wants Pinewood Shepperton to manage the Island’s media development fund for the next five years.
This would see the company advising the Island on film investment opportunities.
CinemaNX which is currently in charge of this would be wound up.
Treasury Minister Eddie Teare hopes politicians will vote in favour.
