A group of students from QEII High School have gained a series of landmark awards from the United Nations.
The five strong team represented the Isle of Man in a series of projects that have now received international recognition in Sweden.
They travelled to Gothenburg to compete against 10 international finalists in the 2012 Volvo Adventure Awards organised in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme.
In total, 245 teams from 45 countries entered the competition.
