The Chairman of the Overseas Aid Committee has said he is pleased to help a relief effort in Nepal because of its links to the Isle of Man.
Last week it was announced that £25,000 would be donated to the country after severe flash flooding struck in May.
One of the worst affected villages was in West Nepal – where a Manx charity The Pahar Trust has been working with local schools and on community projects.
Chairman Phil Gawne said the effort to raise further money for the area is ongoing:
