French tourist dies in Crosby collision

Police have confirmed that a French tourist who was visiting the Island for the TT died after a collision on Monday.

Jean Jacques Gerard Leroux was pronounced dead at the scene following an incident near Crosby at around 9.20am.

50 year old Mr Leroux was visiting the Island with a motorbike club called The 59 Club.

His wife and family have been informed and are now liaising with a police family liaison officer, and an interpreter, to repatriate his body back to France.
