Local rider Conor Cummins will not ride in today’s Superbike race – on safety grounds.
The Ramsey Rocket has withdrawn due to a hand injury which he sustained in the North West 200.
He broke two bones in his right hand two weeks ago and has since had an operation, Hyperbaric Chamber treatment and physiotherapy.
Despite practicing earlier this week Conor said it was unclear if he could last the six laps of the race.
He said he would be aiming to compete in the remaining races and said he will reassess the situation on Monday.
